In February 2021, I was administered the J and J vaccine as part of the Sisonke project. This took place at the Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, Johannesburg – the third biggest hospital in world. In December of the same year, I had the J and J booster vaccine, also as part of the Sisonke project. This was given at the Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg. As a healthcare worker I was given the vaccines as part of South Africa’s first vaccination drive across the country. In late August last year, I received a Pfizer vaccine at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg.
